How to Find the Right Ceramic Bottom Bracket


Follow these three steps to choose the correct bottom bracket product for your bike:

🔹 Step 1: Identify Your Frame Type

  • Threaded Frame:
    – Determine the thread type (Markings on your current bottom bracket as follows):
    ▪️ BSA (English Thread: 1.37” x 24TPI)
    ▪️ ITA (Italian Thread: 36mm x 24TPI)

  • Pressfit Frame:
    – Measure the inner diameter (ID) and width (W) of the bottom bracket shell.
    – Common sizes include:
    ▪️ BB30 (ID42mm, W68mm)
    ▪️ PF30 (ID46mm, W68mm)
    ▪️ BB86 (ID41mm, W86.5mm)
    ▪️ BB90 (ID37mm, W90mm)
    ▪️ BBright (ID46mm, W79mm)
    ▪️ EVO386 (ID46mm, W86.5mm)
    ▪️ BB95 (ID37mm, W95mm)

🔹 Step 2: Identify Your Crankset Type

  • Check the spindle diameter of your crankset:
    – Shimano / FSA MegaExo: 24mm
    – SRAM GXP: 22/24mm
    – Campagnolo Ultra Torque: 25mm
    – BB30: 30mm
    – SRAM DUB: 29mm
    – Others: Confirm exact spec

How to Find the Right Ceramic Jockey Wheels

Follow these three steps to choose the correct jockey wheel product for your bike:

🔹 Step 1: Identify Your Rear Derailleur Brand and Model

  • Common brands include:
    ▪️ Shimano
    ▪️ SRAM
    ▪️ Campagnolo

  • Check the model series and speed (e.g. 10-speed, 11-speed, 12-speed).
    – Example: Shimano Ultegra 11-speed, SRAM Eagle 12-speed, Campagnolo 11-speed

🔹 Step 2: Confirm Pulley Wheel Size/Tooth

  • Most derailleurs use standard 11-Tooth pulley wheels.
  • Some models (especially SRAM Eagle or XX1) use oversized pulleys like 12T+12T or 12T+14T.
  • You can use oversized jockey wheels on your current 11-tooth system. All the oversized options listed here (12T and above) are compatible with medium cage derailleurs without needing to change the cage.
  • Up to 13T+15T options can also be installed without modifying your cage or chain length.
